Octopus Rum

The objective was to elevate the Octopus Rum brand, showcasing how design can transcend mere practicality and serve as a narrative tool. By infusing sealing wax with significance and intention, the aim was to create an immersive experience that stimulates the senses and leaves a lasting impression on consumers. In a competitive market where products vie for attention, the goal was to position Octopus Rum as a symbol of creativity and originality, enticing consumers to delve deeper into its realm of taste and excitement.

Historically, sealing wax has served the practical purpose of protecting bottled beverages from air exposure, which can deteriorate the quality of the contents. Octopus Rum elevates this functionality to an artistic expression by allowing the sealing wax to drip over the bottle sides in a controlled manner, deliberately fashioned to resemble the flowing tentacles of an octopus.

Near the neck, two eyes are subtly imprinted into the wax, bringing the octopus motif to life. This design not only captures the essence of the octopus but also ties into the brand's narrative, evoking the mystery and allure of the deep sea and maritime adventures—themes commonly associated with rum.
